Priya believes in the infinite potential of the human spirit and helps her clients define their values and goals to guide them towards practical solutions. Priya's coaching approach is pragmatic and person-centered, leveraging insights from neuroscience, positive psychology, and advanced coaching techniques to meet the unique needs of each client and situation. She’s accredited as a senior practitioner coach by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and as a professional certified coach by the International Coach Federation.
Coaching topics she’s worked on include career challenges (e.g. stagnation, redundancy, promotion, transition); building presence, credibility, and self-confidence; navigating through organisational change; burnout and work-life balance; handling difficult stakeholder relationships across all levels and challenging organisational cultures. She enjoys working with leaders and groups to help them become more self-aware, optimise their group dynamics and take a wider, systemic lens towards their goals. Her passion for flow originated in her early career as a professional Indian classical dancer and she weaves creativity and mindfulness into her coaching as a result.
Priya started her career in the airline industry holding positions like Area IT manager for Africa, Asia and the Pacific region for British Airways and leading several customer experience transformation programmes for the airline. She moved to the Telecommunications industry and held General Management positions in the customer experience and transformation space before closing her corporate career as the Director of customer experience in a utility.
She has been very active in sponsoring inclusion and diversity in the companies that she worked in and is a highly experienced mentor working across programmes such as Women in STEM and MBA and other post-graduate students. She has been in board level non-executive roles and is currently the chair of the people committee on the board of an NHS Foundation trust.
She was able to crystallise her passion for coaching and continued learning over the Covid pandemic when she took the decision to retire from corporate life to set-up her own coaching practice. She has since completed a Masters in Coaching and Behaviour change is and pursuing a PhD in Leadership, Organisation and behaviour change.
