Jeremy is inspired to work with people, teams, groups and organisations to achieve goals that inspire them and which ideally benefit a wide number of people (without harming anyone). He works with his clients to help them to have total clarity about what they want to be, do and have, and to work towards achieving that whilst supporting them to overcome obstacles (real or perceived).
Examples of his work include:
Coaching existing leaders to become even more effective and step up towards CEO level
Coaching new leaders to excel in the new role
Coaching entrepreneurs and revenue-focussed leaders to reach their financial goals
Coaching CEOs to become even more effective
Coaching senior people at a career crossroads
Training leaders and coaches to become more effective as coaches, including gaining recognised coaching qualifications
Jeremy draws on his wide-ranging business experience:
8 years of running a business as a student
17 years in the world of finance and consultancy,
since 1999 as a coach and trainer
as well as 14 years as a semi-professional footballer to help clients achieve the goals they aspire to.
He can be incredibly supportive and nurturing, whilst maintaining a no-nonsense approach (for example, not buying into clients’ excuses). He believes that having the right attitude is a key requirement for success (however the client defines success).
Jeremy has had over 50 years of business experience (he started young!). He spent 17 years in the world of finance, including as an investment accountant, corporate treasurer, a management consultant at Ernst & Young, Treasury Manager and Group Chief Accountant at Unigate plc, and CFO at YO! Sushi.
He is a qualified accountant and corporate treasurer. In 1999 he set up his own coaching and training business, primarily out a desire to make a difference; “the results and metrics of any organisation depend on its people”.
He qualified as an NLP (Neuro-linguistic Programming) Trainer in 2000, and since then, as well as coaching, he has trained clients in the applied uses of NLP, for example: coaching, influencing, managing and leading, as well as training them to be NLP Practitioners, NLP Master Practitioners and NLP Trainers. His NLP courses became one of the few to be recognised by UK Universities. In 2014 he became an approved ILM Centre, authorised to deliver their Level 5 and Level 7 Coaching & Mentoring qualifications. As part of his ILM courses, he provides coaching supervision to the delegates.
In 2006 he started using his NLP and coaching skills with athletes, and has worked with various elite athletes such as the Great Britain Pistol Shooting team and Premier League football coaches and players.
He has written four best-selling books on the uses of NLP in sport, business and life generally.
He has been part of the Association for Coaching’s accreditation team since 2013, regularly attends CPD events and has coach supervision.
He has been a guest lecturer at Middlesex University since 2008.
